What size front wheels can I use with Jazz fork?
Omobic Jazz front fork with suspension can be used with casters with dimensions:
- 3”
- 4”
- 5”
- 6”
Can I install this myself, or do I need a mobility technican?
It depends on how advanced wheelchair user you are. If you have been using a wheelchair for many years, you will handle it by yourself with and instruction. But if you are “fresh” wheelchair user it is better to ask for support professional technican.
Will it change the seat dump/angle of my wheelchair?
No, installing Jazz front fork should not change your seat angle. If you fill that the front of your wheelchair is too high, you can use the special screw to tighten the fork.
How do I adjust the shock absorption on a Jazz front fork?
You can adjust the shock absorption by tightening or loosening a special screw that controls how bumps are absorbed. If the screw is tightened, the fork becomes stiffer. If it is loosened, it absorbs uneven terrain better, preventing vibrations from reaching the wheelchair user.
